ON THE TEE WITH TREVOR

Our thoughts go out to two of our long-standing members of the Club, namely, Willem Slabbert and his Wife and Shorty Hartman who have recently experienced health challenges. We are thinking of you at this time and trust that it won't be long before returning to the Fairways and Greens.

IMPORTANT CLUB NEWS

MESSAGE FROM THE CLUB CAPTAIN HANSIE ENGELBRECHT REGARDING THE LEASE

BUYING GOLF BALLS ON THE COURSE

Dear Members and Visitors,

Please refrain from purchasing Golf Balls and/or other items from hawkers who have illegally set up a trade on the Bloemfontein Golf Club.

We fear that the support of such trade would put players at risk during such time that we are trying our best to ensure your safety at the Club at all times. We have arranged for 24/7 patrolling of the road running parallel to the 5th and 13th holes.

A FINE OF R500 WILL BE IMPOSED FOR THOSE FAILING TO ADHERE TO THE ABOVE.

ROPING AROUND THE TEES

Dear Members and Visitors,

Please refrain from stepping on, leaning on or driving on the yellow ropes which protect the perimeter of most of our tee-boxes on the golf course. These ropes are integral to the manicuring and upkeep of our facilities and your cooperation in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

INVASIVE GRASS ON HOLE #7 & #14

Dear Members and Visitors,

Please note that our course staff are doing their utmost in terms of chemical treatments and monitoring closely the condition of the 7th and 14th Greens for invasive grass that has started to show it's head. The team are on it and working hard to combat this type of growth.
